Safeguarding

Transforming Futures fully recognises its responsibilities for Child Protection and Safeguarding, that all staff have a full and active part to play in protecting our pupils from harm.

Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families and carers has a role to play in safeguarding children. We work together with other agencies to ensure our schools have arrangements in place to identify, assess and support those children who are suffering from harm.

The Trust has policies and procedures in place to deal effectively with child protection and safeguarding issues, which include tackling radicalisation and extremism, together with recording and monitoring processes. Our Child Protection and Safeguarding policy statement and each academies' policies are below.

We provide caring, positive, safe and stimulating environments which promote the social, physical and moral development of individual pupils. We equip pupils with the skills, knowledge and resilience to make positive decisions and to keep themselves safe in all areas of their life.

Transforming Futures recognises the impact working in our settings can have on the health and wellbeing of its staff and provides a comprehensive wellbeing support package for all colleagues. See our recruitment pages for more information.
